About me

I am a very blessed wife to a wonderful, kind man, who happens to be my soul mate and love of my life! I also have three unique, creative, beautiful daughters, that make my life complete.
I am a “crunchy” type gal, that prefers all things natural, including soaps, fabrics, cleaning supplies, etc. The earth in its natural state makes me blissfully happy. My hands digging in the dirt, or nurturing the life of a plant puts me where no drug could ever take me.
I currently work as a librarian, church vocalist, and as a Creative Memories consultant, which is the best job EVER. In March, I met my newest obsession, my Nikon DSLR, which pretty much never leaves my hands. Since then, I have been studying photographic technique through books, and online.
In a previous life, I was ready to become an opera singer. I saw myself on that stage, but I am a gal with skin about as thick as oh, tissue paper, so I figured out that was not the direction I should head. That, and I have a family that comes first.

Hey! I just was checking out some photos over at iheartfaces.com and stumbled upon your page. I noticed you said something about Lawrence and thought I’d read to see more. I, too, am a Creative Memories consultant (hobbyist) and have been for 10 years. I am a stay at home mom in Lawrence and do many other things. I am a Tastefully Simple consultant (I actually do this one as a business unlike CM) and a photographer. Just thought it was weird that I stumbled upon someone so close. :o)
